INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR ORDER

Before you place your order: If you have any questions or would like more information on any of the products, please email info@kirstiemaclaren.com with your query.

Sizing: If you do not know your ring size, please email us to request a ring sizer. Alternatively, pop into a jeweller and ask to be sized. Before placing your order for a ring, please be totally sure about your ring size. Some of the designs cannot be resized and will have to be made from scratch again.

Lead time: Each piece of jewellery is made to order, especially for you. Please familiarise yourself with lead times before ordering. If your item is urgent, please email beforehand to check that your order can be prioritised.

Packaging: Your item will be sent to you in a gift box, and a polishing cloth will be provided with larger items. If you order a gold-plated item, a care card will be sent along with your item, so that you know how best to look after your plated jewellery.

What is gold vermeil?: Gold vermeil simply means gold plating onto solid silver. We use an 18ct gold solution to coat your jewellery with a 3 micron plating. All plating is carried out in-house, which means a lot of care goes into the quality of your plating. If you follow the care instructions provided with your order, it will help with the longevity of your plated item.

Postage: All shipping is included in the price shown in the shop. Your order is sent via Royal Mail, using next-day special delivery for items over £50. A signature will be required, and there may be some branding on the mailing bag. So if your order is a surprise, please email ahead, and we will send it in an unmarked mailing bag, so as not to spoil any surprises!

Special requests: As mentioned in many of the item descriptions, engraving, casting in solid gold or adjustments can be made, but this will delay the item around 2 - 4 weeks, depending on the service.

Returns: As each order is made especially for you, we are unable to offer refunds. However, if your product is faulty, we will provide you with a new item.

Repairs: Jewellery can face a fair measure of wear and tear, and we know that sometimes breakages happen. If your item breaks in any way, please send us an email. If an item is caught and snaps, has deep surface marks or bends due to being heavily handled, a fee will be incurred.
